The Census Bureau provides state to state moves annually. The Post Office thru their change of address forms also has this data.
Even Ca govt acknowledges this.
Well, the state’s population dipped yet again in 2022, for the third year in a row. The number of people living in California fell by 138,443 last year, to 38.94 million, according to state data released this week.

Believe what you want to, Tom. The Census Bureau has NO WAY of measuring state population data other than its every-ten-years census. Anything else they "report" is merely an estimate.
But you only believe whatever agrees with your preconceived notions. Your thinking and reasoning processes would shame a six-year-old. I'm done refuting and schooling you on this thread.
