Election 2020 - Unpleasantness

I've learned that Mark won't differentiate the racism discussion.  He refuses to discuss the issue.  I'd say that he's a girlyman, but that would be sexist.

Boilerman, calling Mark a "girlyman" would be an insult to real girlymen.

What would DonDiego say about all this unpleansantness?

PJ says-- "What would DonDiego say about all this unpleansantness?" ------ DonDiego would say something along the line of--- "Just PJ and Mark being themselves."

Don't post much on here anymore, but really enjoy rdwoodpecker, boilerman, lvfritz, David Miller and of course Don.  But, I do wish there was a way to put certain people on ignore and that we could still do private message.  Also, miss bagiant.

I think Boilerman is projecting. If you visit any of the big conservative hangouts online, you will quickly find out that the blue eyed blonde cheerleader type that conservatives used to see as their dream girl has been replaced with the Southeast Asian Kathoey.

Poor old DonDiego finds unpleasantness generally unproductive.  But then, . . . political discussion is often unproductive, because some folks just chose a side a long time ago, . . . and susequently opine that will remain their side regardless of any evidence of possible inadequacy.

Poor old DonDiego considers himself a "conservative" because he opines that free enterprise, private ownership, and a set of at least some sort of values - to guide how one lives, works, and behaves - is likely more productive than many alternative ideas.

Too much Government, even if well intended, gives someone else or some committee or some "party" way too much control over individuals, . . . . . leading to less than pleasant lives.

At 06:59am 23 August on the thread entitled "David Koch has Passed" PJStroh demonstrated pleasantness overcoming unpleasantness.

It can be done with a bit more thought and a bit less emotional-political-response.

Diego is a man of reason and a more reasonable man than I am.  I need to learn.

I'll be honest, DonDiego, I dont make much of an effort to be pleasant.  I'm far more concerend about being honest.

To the extent that people on this forum find it unpleasant when I remind them of their own posts - well lets just say I dont lose much sleep.    Honest people with honest principals dont mind reonciling their own words....and perhaps can learn from their hyprocisy.  For everyone else - well, who cares?

Have a a grreat day.
