Today I voted against Trump and for what he stands for. A short Bio about my self. Served 18 months in country in Vietnam. Worked a full time job while commuting to college with help from the G.I. Bill. Graduated with a B.S. with 3.12 GPA. Started working at the age of 14. While in High School worked two jobs. Retired at age of 66, I drove Semi's, worked in a glass plant, worked over seas. firefighter, and retired from an energy company.
I did vote for Reagan. I was not a fan of Hillary. I consider my self as a moderate leaning to the left. Your posts are very telling. As far as the lying and cheating, I've done some. Not a fraction of the amount Trump has done.
I do care about America, I worry that this country will be torn apart due to the devisiveness brought on by Trump and Fox news.
cjen-I note your response, but I feel you have not gone far enough with your thoughts about present day problems in America. Lying and cheating - you make it sound as if President Trump is the only one guilty of such. I guess you have forgotten the lying and cheating done by Slick Willy and Obama. I don't excuse President Trump, but I also don't excuse Clinton and Obama. As far as I am concerned, I care about where the past administrations have led our nation and the effort that President Trump is taking to fulfill his campaign promises - which the Democrats fight every step of the way. Our school systems are terrible, minorities think they can say and do whatever they want without consequences. Our justice system is a laughing joke with lawyers getting rich distorting the laws and getting criminals off or paroled for henious crimes. President Trump did not bring on the devisiveness that exists today, but he has brought it to the forefront by reminding the true citizens and tax payers of the schemes and fraudlent actions of the past administrations - they set the table. Draining the swamp that is entrenched in Washington and throughout our nation is a daunting task. The Democrats don't and won't help rectifty the obvious issues as they ONLY care about themselves and not the people they represent- the American citizens. Our southern border is a sieve and has been for years. Democrats and idiot judges refuse to allow the laws on the books that deal with illegal immigration to be enforced. Currently our nation has the most robust economy seen in the past 15-20 years. Unemployment is at record lows. Hard working American citizens are once again able to hold their heads high and look forward to a better future. You and others should overlook the lying, fake news and open your eyes to what good has actually happened the past 2 years. Democrats and the media lie and distort the truth daily. Commercials should have been run quoting the Democrats claim that the US would never go above 2% GDP, while the actuals are over 3%
