Every candidate for whom DonDiego cast his vote won. Life is good.
Every candidate for whom DonDiego cast his vote won. Life is good.
Noteable results outside of individual races:
- Michigan voted to legalize recreational marijuana...and also end gerrymandering from the controlling executive branch.
- Four anti-socialism red states voted to expand the socialist program of Medicaid: Idaho, Utah, Nebraska, and Montana
- Red states Arkansas and Missouri pased ballot measures to pass minimum wage increases to $11 and $12 respectively. I guess they're not concerned the economy will collapse as a result.
- Colorado passed a ballot measure to institute bi-partisan district mapping going forward. Utah's similar measure is still being counted. The pro-bipartisan approach is ahead by a few thousand votes as of this post.
Bi-partisan commissions = control by the party in power
I am sad Doc went missing this morning. He was sitting on his toilet when a powerful stream of blue water erupted from it washing Doc out of his bathroom, out of his house, out of his neighborhood and eventually out to sea.
Actually, I am not missing - but I am in the bathroom steadily flushing the commode and watching the "blue wave" steadily flush the enormous amount of Democratic bullshit that had risen to ungodly levels here the past 2 years. I expect to be here for quite a while.

What dictionary is that from?
So called bi-partisan commisions are picked by the party in power. So unless the commission has equal number of democrats & Republicans, the party in power will pick the odd number, thereby giving them control
This is a much smaller loss to the house democrats at 27 then some predicted, certainly not a "blue wave".Obama and Clinton lost in excess of 50 represeaives each. Now those 2 were a true ass kicking.
let's just hope they all can try to work together and help our country succeed!

From the Michigan ballot initiative...
“It would create a 13-member citizens redistricting commission made up of four Republicans, four Democrats, and five people who identify with neither party. The proposal would bar partisan officeholders, their employees, lobbyists, and others with ties to the current system from becoming commissioners.”
Who picks the 5 independents?
