I'm visiting my brother and his wife at their new house in Asheville, NC. Like my brothers best friend, they fled Illinois in preference to North Carolina in an effort to escape the fiscally irrisponsible Illinois. Illinois democrats are doing their best to chase high income and asset folks from the state. My bros new house cost $1.5 million and his buddies house, which is still under constrution, will come in at about $2 million. Illinois just chased away two large tax payers.
