I have no objection to companies trying to legally maximize their profits. I do object to people blaming Biden for the resulting price increases.

By not approving pipelines, drilling & anything to do with the production process we will eventually deplete those fields. It takes 10+ years to bring a field to production & years to build pipelines & refineries. 

By stopping for the past 2 years we are falling behind. In sales it is called always be selling; on this case it is always be drilling.

And even before that Biden approved 3557 new drilling permits (compared to Trump doing 2658) in the same period of his tenure.    You're double welcome !

The so called expansion was part of the $500b inflation act. The squad is already working to derail that. 

the 3,000 permits were all applications filed under President Trump. This has been pointed out before. (Fake Biden stat)

Since then according to Politico permit approvals have dropped significantly. For example only 95 approved this past January. 

It's sure amusing to watch our conservitards tap dance around this topic. It takes creativity, not to mention a good amount of lying, to pin high global fossil fuel prices on Biden.

So your defnition of Biden blocking drilling is the fact that he signed 50% more leases than his predecessor.

And your definition of Democrats blocking drilling is making excuses for Republicans blocking drilling.

The approved permits in 2021 were already being processed. Since then the approval process had slowed to a crawl, recently only 95 in a month, a prorated number of less than 1,200 per year. 

And so what?    If Biden was "blocking drilling" per your fairy tale he would not have signed them.    
The only people blocking drilling were the ones I cited who voted as  such....and Tom gives them his suppor while crying about his fairy tale.

What about Biden not allowing seismic testing?  You can drill for oil and gas, but you can't use the most important tool to decide where and if to drill.
