They can't just "get off" a major energy source without something to replace it. You were supposedly in the petrochemical industry, and you don't know that you can't just shut off the pipes and expect everything to keep functioning?
Trump may have bleated something about Russia oil and gas, but he never said what they should supposedly do to replace it. They're moving toward alternative energy sources, but as expected, it's slow.

Europeans get most of their fuel from the US and they turned off Russia's pipeline. Trump is doing cartwheels as we speak to remove Russia's sanctions and get that slush fund running again for their corrupt, war criminal government.
