Exactly one year ago: "We are not prepared for a pandemic."

Yes. Some people were wrong about the severity of the danger. Trump was wrong as well.

The difference is that when more data became available, those people changed their assessment. Trump did not. When they advised him of the danger, Trump did nothing, aside from some ineffective travel bans.

Then we have biden - mandatory masks, no mandatory masks, mandatory masks again & I think the latest is maybe mandatory masks. This is followed by no shutdown, shutdown, no shutdown.

And of course fauci who comes down on both sides of an issue, sometimes in the same paragraph.

Yeah tom, you don't exactly specialize in nuance.

But while Biden likes mandatory masks, he recognizes that a President cannot legally command it. And most knowledgeable people believe in targeted shut-downs when necessary, and a huge investment in contact tracing and testing.

Not exactly the black and white, borderline personality disorder answer you were looking for, eh tom?

Your comprehension skills are pathetically poor, Tom--Biden has never advocated for "mandatory masks." Biden has not advocated for any "shutdown," either. Fauci has sent a consistent message on the pandemic since March.

Your cognitive skills are crippled by watching only Fox News and believing only what you want to hear. And Tom...you were never very smart to begin with. You don't have any cognition to spare.

"Biden has never advocated for "mandatory masks."

I know it is hard to keep up with biden's changing stances; from CNN

"The one thing we do know is these masks make a gigantic difference. I would insist that everybody out in public be wearing that mask. Anyone to reopen would have to make sure that they walked into a business that had masks," Biden told CNN's affiliate in Pittsburgh, KDKA, while wearing a black mask.
Pressed if he'd use federal power to mandate wearing a mask in public, Biden responded, "Yes, I would. From an executive standpoint, yes I would."

In any event, so what? He's said he'll listen to the experts and follow their recommendations. Trump follows his own deranged, narcissistic impulses--and he's wavered on the subject of masks as well.

I know, Tom, that you LUVVVVV Trump and think he's a bigly genius and that as his loyal servant, you want to obey his wishes by babbling about the magic laptop and other alt-right conspiracy nonsense. But Trump will never give you a lollipop, no matter how hard you try to win his affections!
