Face It Trump Lovers The Republican Party Has Already Cut Bait On Trump

The Senate Republicans won't give Trump a stimulus.  Yesterday, Rupert Murdoch said he expects Biden to win in a landslide. And Republican elected officials everywhere are already breaking out their austerity fetishist rubber suits and self-flagellation gear.

Republican Nebraska Senator Ben Sass was caught on tape:

Sasse began his list with, “The way he kisses dictators’ butts,” and said Trump “hasn’t lifted a finger” on behalf of pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong.

“I mean, he and I have a very different foreign policy,” Sasse said. “It isn’t just that he fails to lead our allies. It’s that we — the United States — regularly sells out our allies under his leadership.”

Sasse said he criticizes Trump for how he treats women and because Trump “spends like a drunken sailor,” saying he criticized Democratic President Barack Obama overspending.

“He mocks evangelicals behind closed doors,” Sasse said. “At the beginning of the COVID crisis, he refused to treat it seriously. For months, he treated it like a news cycle-by-news cycle PR crisis rather than a multi-year public health challenge, which is what it is.”

Certainly, Sasse thinks Trump is going to lose. Otherwise, he wouldn't have exposed himself to an eternal tweetstorm from the Orange Asshole.

He's not up for reelection, though. And all of the vulnerable senators have gone all in for Trump, and did so some time ago. Not a peep of criticism directed at their orange master.

This will be an epic slaughter, and quite possibly the death of the Republican party.

Uhhhh..Davey-poo...a speculation, by definition, can't be a lie. MOOGA MOOGA MOOGA.

If you're going to use a dictionary, David, at least learn how to read the definitions.

A "theory or conjecture" is not a statement of fact. Therefore, it cannot be a lie. A lie is a false statement that something is true.

You really would benefit from logging on and participating in my virtual third grade English classes!

"without firm evidence" makes a speculation a lie.

David, do you plan to flee the country with Trump when he looses?

No, actually, it doesn't. A lie is a deliberately false statement intended to deceive. A speculation is about the future, and therefore cannot be either a lie or truthful.

I'll stop trying to educate you now. Your poor English comprehension combined with your foolish political views makes you sound like a sad old joke.
