Troops deployed overseas is not synonymous with combat.       And if you want to pretend it is then the argument about Trump's global peace during his first term is bullshit too.

If we had 'Trump's way' we still would have exited Afghanistan, but not done it with the great Democrat stupidity we all witnessed.  We would have kept Bagram with a protection force and exited from there rather than the fully exposed Kabul airport.  We would have removed all of our equipment.  We would not have created 13 new Gold Star families and caused serious injuries to 50 other American Soldiers and the death of 170 Afghans.  We would not have abandoned Americans there either.  And remember, Sleepy Joe ignored the advice of his generals on the withdrawal strategy and then lied about it.

The botched withdrawal was a turning point in the Biden administration.  No one was held accountable.  No one was fired.  Americans have the lingering mental pictures of hundreds of Afghans swarming the last plane out and of Joe continually checking his watch during the dignified transfer of soldiers at Dover Air Force Base in August 2021.  I guess he had more important things to do.  And yet, PJ  claims this is a crowning achievement of the Democrat administration.  It was the beginning of the downfall.

But let's get back to Ukraine.  You still haven't given us your plan to end this war.  I think it's unwinnable unless it's escalated with even more lethal weapons like F35s or Nukes or we get involved with boots on the ground.  That would be even more stupidity.  The only solution is a negotiated settlement and a treaty of some sort.  You and Mark suggest Ukraine needs to fight to the last Ukrainian and we need to keep pouring hundreds of billions of taxpayer's dollars to prop them up.  I say that's a fools errand.

And look here.  It seems our NATO ally German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke to Putin on Friday for the first time in 2 years to try to sue for peace.  I'm just shocked that you and Mark aren't claiming Scholz is a Putin Stooge lining up to give him a blowjob.  That's been your MO to smear anyone who wants to negotiate a peaceful end to that conflict...like Trump or Tulsi.  Too bad smarter people didn't prevail back in 2022...500,000 Ukrainians and 750,000 Russians ago.
