And as for your smear of me personally "you would be one of those thugs in the picture"...let me say a few things.  Breeching the capitol on January 6th was incredibly stupid after President Trump had asked supporters TO PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTIALLY MARCH AND LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD.  There were 250,000 Trump Supporters that day.  75 Million voted for him.  1500 trespassed into the capitol.

To blame every Trump supporter for the acts of a few is wrong. I'll admit I've done it on the other side and that was wrong too. Most Trump supporters actually agree with me that going into the Capitol that day was wrong....especially after Trump asked them to peacefully and patriotically protest.   But still, 1500 or so went into the Capitol.  It was a protest that turned into a riot.  Still, most of them were non-violent but some attacked police and destroyed property.  They all paid a heavy price. One of them was shot and killed. But Democrats have been exploiting that day ever since.  Turning it into the Greatest Threat to Democracy Ever and blaming all Trump voters for it...that's just bullshit and you know it.  

It would be like me claiming that "Since democrats supported the Black Lives Matter protests which often turned into riots therefore PJ supported those riots that killed 33 and caused 2 billion in damage".  So to make it even, I have to ask "Has PJ looted any Target Stores this year?".  See how that works?

Troops deployed overseas is not synonymous with combat

The bases & ships are bombed regularly with casualties  I consider that being in combat.  US planes have attacked various bases.

What you consider, stupid Tom, is meaningless. Combat is when troops are actively fighting opponents to aachieve military objectives. Manning a garrison is NOT combat, even if that garrison comes under periodic attack.

Charles, when you support individuals or groups that commit an action, you are tacitly supporting that action...even if you later say that you oppose it.

The threat to democracy isn't a potential repeat of the insurrection. It's the institution of Project 2025, which like Mein Kampf, people say it isn't really a plan. Then Hitler followed it to the letter. Trump is already showing that he plans to follow Project 2025 to the letter, as well (despite his disavowal; like anyone believes him, lol).

I didnt vote for any BLM orgaznizers of violence to high office.   You voted for the architect of Jan 6....and that was just the tip of the iceberg.   He led his supporters to Ruby Freeman's house to harrass her because he lied and told them she was stuffing ballot boxes.    He called up governors and asked them to find votes.  He coordinated with states to send fake electors to the Capital.   He demanded his VP decertify the election.    And when our justice system tried to hold him accountable for those actions people like you cried "lawfare" or some bullshit.    

Niicky Haley agrees with almost every policy position Trump holds.   And by every poll she would have destroyed either Biden or Harris in the election.   ...but you and the Republicans didnt care about policy.   You wanted payback for the "lawfare" against your militant thug asshole.   And you got your candidate over the finish line.    Good for you.  Please Spare us any bullshit about  how you think about wars and democracy.
