Chris Christie is back and ready to run for President. He came out swinging at Trump and Pence. As sad as it is, I think he is the only Republican in the current field capable of winning a national election.

Doubt it. How long do you think it will take Trump to tap into the fat jokes / nicknames? Christie will never see double digits in the primary polls. I actually dont hate him. he was popular in Deep Blue New Jersey right up until the bridge scandal hit which (lets be honest) he had his grubby hands all over. Too bad. He could have made a name for himself otherwise.
PJ, I do think he has a path to secure the nomination if it plays out a certain way.
As long as he is behind DeSantis for second place Trump won't spend a lot of time on him. He can just kind of hang around there using DeSantis as a human shield and wait to see if multiple indictments cripple Trump.
If Trump can't continue, the MAGAs will be looking for an alternative. It won't be DeSantis because the MAGAs see him as a traitor and he's already been thoroughly humiliated and emasculated by Trump. I think most MAGAs would see Christie as a big enough asshole to carry the MAGA banner and the establishment Republicans would welcome him as someone that is sane but still could turn the MAGA base out
Trump is very popular with about 40% of the GOP, and 30% of them are "Trump or nobody" voters. This means that unless something very unusual happens, Trump will easily be the nominee.
And who the hell is Christie's constituency anyway? He left office with a 15% approval rating, the Trumpers hate him, and the never-Trumpers don't trust him. He's an entertaining guest on cable, and that's the only reason we are hearing from him.
