FBI Says Prepare For MAGA Terrorists In All 50 States

(CNN)The FBI has received information indicating "armed protests" are being planned at all 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC in the days leading up to President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, according to an internal bulletin obtained by CNN.

I agree with Megan McCain.  It is time to round these folks up and send them to Gitmo.

We'll see a lot of deranged yelling, a smattering of violence, and a few arrests. Then they'll all go away. They're just amusing their primitive little selves at this point. And as long as it stays legal, I'm perfectly fine with it.

I do wonder, though, if any of these airheads realize that if they actually got what they wanted--the replacement of American democracy with fascism--their protests would land them in a prison camp. Sorta like when Tucky Buckford railed against Obamacare and then rushed to sign up on Day One. A lot of these brain-dead droolers don't even understand their own cause and its ramifications.

An "armed protest" is an oxymoron. If it's armed, it's terrorism.

They feel emboldened by the capital attack as not many are facing consequences for their actions. I disagree with Kevin as I believe those that turn out now are more likely to be violent. They see their fantasy of a second term for Trump slipping away so they are growing even more desperate.

At least the whole blue lives matter thing has been exposed as a cover for racism. It is kind of hard to say when you are collectively beating a police officer with a flagpole with an American flag, a  flagpole with a Trump flag and chanting USA, USA that you think blue lives matter. 

Perhaps, then, the real answer is that MAGA rioters in Trumpy states will probably have very little to fear from law enforcement, whereas in blue states, they will be met with an actual law enforcement presence and prevented from committing any crimes in service to their orange god.

I also would expect larger moron crowds in the swing states where Trump lost his seventeen thousand court cases (or is it more now? I've stopped counting). After all, how much impact will you have if you grab yer GUNZ and yer Confederate flags and bucket off in your pickup truck to Bismarck or Cheyenne to stand in the snow and holler until you lose your voice? Will anyone even notice?

Ultimately, though, these idiots' riots will be nothing but, as Shakespeare put it, "a tale full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Long ago somebody said "What if they had a war and nobody came?" 

I always think of this when I hear of a planned extremist  (KKK, etc.) parade or demonstration.  What if nobody lined the parade route, not one person attended the demonstration?   Wishful thinking, of course.

With TV, social media (not to mention the primary instigator, Trump), etc. for whom this is income, it is useless to hope this.  I'm encouraged to see the corporate and other pushback, even the party those morons thought they were staging this for.

Apparently, President Supermouth has emerged from his White House bunker and is moaning about being impeached again. This will undoubtedly be additional fuel for the nutcases.

While fiddling with the radio dial, I happened upon some conservative talking head who was apparently complaining about supposed violations of Trump's right to free speech (even though neither he nor anyone else has the right to incite an insurrection). She said "They take away your First Amendment, then they'll take away your Second Amendment, we'll turn into Venezuela, and the earth will explode in flames and spiral into the sun." (I may be paraphrasing here.)

Because as we all know, waving your GUNZ in the air, screaming, assaulting and killing police officers, and breaking into, looting, and trashing government buildings are all sacred constitutionally protected activities. You can learn so much by listening to conservative talk radio!

Funny how the loudest voices are so often the most damaging ones.  Why is that?

Before sending the protestors to Guantanamo, poor old DonDiego suggests one consult applicable laws to the carrying of guns at protests.

And as it turns out there are laws in each State and the District of Columbia pertaining to this issue: "Where local officials can/cannot ban guns at demonstrations"

As it turns out the District of Columbia is a jurisdiction that does not "allow firearms at demonstrations".

However, 36 States do allow concealed or open carry at demonstrations. 

Oh, . . . and at least up until now, no Guantanamo residents are American citizens.  Perhaps that condition should persist.  [Actually one US citizen was detained in Guantanamo, before it became known he'd been born on US soil.]
