56% of police agencies either don't report or partially report their crime stats
However, data informing the FBI’s figures is supplied voluntarily by law enforcement agencies across the US, and do not include major metropolitan areas including Los Angeles and New York, where crime is historically high. The LAPD and NYPD are the two largest police forces in the nation, but they are not included in the FBI data

Your data is way out of date, tom, so for once maybe you're not lying. For you that's a huge improvement!
This information was released today by the FBI as it is this time of year every year, and it covers 94% of the US.
Maybe the Trump crime wave is over.

Stupid Tom: Here's some stats that support what I want to believe!
Response to stupid Tom: What about these stats that show just the opposite?
Stupid Tom: Those don't count!!! WAAAAH!!!
Let me try to educate stupid Tom. Let's say that what he says is 100% correct (quite a stretch, but bear with me). Prior crime stats were compiled using the same criteria, RIIIIGHT? So major metro areas "were not included" (har, har) in PRIOR data collections as well as the one stupid Tom mentions. So as long as the same criteria were used, a comparison of two data sets from different periods is perfectly valid.
I know stupid Tom's unlikely to fathom this, but hey, I tried.
Just wanted to revive this thread now the FBI has revised their numbers to show an increase of violent crimes up 4.5% in 2022 instead of a 2.1% decrease. Trump (tap tap tap, watch the heads bobble) was right again.

Couldn't find any legit source for that. I did find a CLAIM from a data expert for right-wing think tanks named John Lott. He gained a brief amount of fame when the authors of the bestselling Freakonomics book accused him of faking some data, and he sued for defamation, and he lost.
After Lott was challenged on a gun safety survey he published, he said he couldn't produce the original data because of a hard drive crash, he couldn't find the original tally sheets because he lost them, and he couldn't recall the names of any of the students who had worked on it. And he created two fake supporters (sock puppets) to support his work, which he later admitted.
So like I said, I couldn't find a legit source.

You didn't even google search "fbi crime statistics"
looks like Trump was again right. He was 'fact checked' during that debate by the so called moderators who stated your BS statistics and of course they were wrong, It's up 4.9% this last year for a total of 55% in 3 years.
Keep sucking that biased media teat.

Can't provide an actual source, though, can you?

We've already done that, and the numbers from the FBI are nowhere near yours. You won't even tell us where you got your numbers. From out of your ass, perhaps?
