Federal judge orders ICE to lay off protesters in Minnesota

Citing their right to peacefully protest, and noting that overall law enforcement is NOT ICE's job, the judge said that capital offenses (according to ICE) like partially blocking roads are legal forms of protest, and if parking violations are committed, it's up to local law enforcement to deal with that.

Trump, of course, screamed on Lies Social about "that liberal hack judge" who "unlawfully sided with the domestic terrorists" yada yada yada.

Now, the issue is the Turd's deployment of 1,000 fresh thugs to Minnesota. The states of Minnesota and Illinois are suing to stop him (some of the gangs are apparently going to Chicago to kill protestors).

I hope that Minnesotans don't give up. Reports indicate that the outrage is growing and the protests getting larger and more frequent.

I think that a decent President would be trying to de-escalate the situation, not worsen it.

You MAGAs are drooling slaves to a complete asshole.

I'm with that judge.

But I vascillate between the 'sanity' of verbal taunting of any law enforcement person, as was reported, depending on what/who you read, as the "wife" did...versus how the heck otherwise do ya get their attention?  I'm guessing the taunting created enough mental disarray (combined with the whole picture) for the ICE guy to lose any cool he might have possessed, any sense of his responsibility to de-escalate in such a situtation.

Not at all that either did the wise thing.  JMHO.

The real "key" is the definition of " peaceful protest " - the throwing of objects, spitting on law officers, psyically obstructing law officers as they do their official duties is NOT " peaceful ptptesting" .

Law enforcement personnel are supposed to be professionals. Professionals are not supposed to allow themselves to be goaded into violence.

But here's the thing. The killers were IMMIGRATION and CUSTOMS law enforcement. Not regular police. What were they doing there, trying to break up protests? Not their job!

Also, the killer apparently had a history of violent encounters stemming from his dangerous habit of standing directly in front of vehicles. Combine that with his overall stupidity and unprofessionalism, and his presence was a disaster waiting to happen.

Of course, ICE goons have been assigned to raid blue cities precisely because of their propensity for violence and their disregard for civil rights. Perfect Trump employees.

The Turd has ordered his lackeys to NOT investigate the shooter and instead, to investigate the victim's wife.

Disgusting!

The judge made that distinction. He also noted that simply parking on a public road, as the victim did, was perfectly legal, and if she did violate parking regulations, it was up to local police, NOT ICE, to deal with it.

The murdered woman didn't throw anything at the goons or spit on them. In fact, she tried to inform them if her peaceful intentions.

Expected decision by a Biden judge. It will be overturned

Nobidy was murdered. Peaceful intentions??  She did try to murder an ICE officer. Check his injuries.

Parking in the middle of the street to set up a potential ambush is not illegal parking and there were no police around to handle the problem

Throwing rocks and fireworks, destroying private property , starting fires and taunting federal officers is not a peaceful protest.

One way to deflect from the $9+ billion the somalis stole with walz and company looking the other way.

Democrats always support criminals.

I'm glad to see that you agree that all of those "peaceful protesters" on Jan 6 should have been prosecuted, and not pardoned.  Great,

You support a multiple felon, multiple rapist, mass murderer, and thief.

What do you have to say about that, O Moral Tom?

You don't have the balls to give us an honest answer.

There is no real comparison between the Jan 6 protest and what is currently happening now in Minnesota. Many of the Jan 6 who were unjustly tried and convicted were mearely there to protest the corrupt election. The few who actually caused harm were correctly judged and jailed. Many others received overly harsh punishments/sentences - as noted by the Supreme Court - for just being there. The Jan 6 event lasted just a few hours while the "protests" in Minnesota have been ongoing for days with ever increasing mayhem and illegal assaults caused by the well organized/funded "protesters" who have appeared in waves for the sole purpose to obstruct the legal apprehension of illegal alien criminals. It remains to be seen just how "fairly/justly" these  "protesters " will be judged.

Once again, Tom has stated the actual facts. It is difficult to comprehend how others cannot discern the truth from falsehoods perpetrated by those who refuse to accept the reality of current events.
