I would, for starters, strongly doubt that multiple rape is endorsed or recommended. Neither is murdering over 100 people. I also doubt that fraud and thievery is recommended. Nor is lying more often than most people breathe.

 

So worshipping such a person isn't recommended in the Bible, either. I'm sure there are some maxims to that effect. If David truly cared about the moral maxims of the Bible, he would cease his mindless fealty to one of the worst human beings to ever walk this earth.

 

But yeah, it was all a witch hunt.
