First a plane, and now a Nobel Prize medal?

This is getting out of control.  Apparently Machado knows the shiny object is more important to the US President than it is to her.  

I can just imagine him hunched over in a corner of the Oval Office holding the medal calling it, "My Precious", like Golem in Lord of the Rings.  

He can put it on the mantle with all of the championship golf trophies he didn't actually win either.

You gotta admit, it's a good move by Machado. Kissing the Turd's ass and flattering him is the way to go.

She's probably hoping against hope that her country won't be turned into a "protectorate" and looted. She might have to give him more shiny things, like maybe a gilded throne.

It looks like she's going to be hung out to dry. So far it looks like most of the Maduro regime will remain. Right now the vice president has taken charge. Will free elections take place within 30 days as per the Venezuelan Constitution? Will the US pressure the regimed to hold elections?  Or will the VP just be the new dictator? Meet the old boss same as the new boss? 

I think that the Turd will pressure them to NOT hold elections. After all, she has genuflected and debased herself before him. He likes nothing better. He'll do whatever it takes to ensure that she remains his puppet president.
