DeSantis is shepherding a bill through the Florida state legislature that will strip away all liability protections for anyone who criticizes.a public figure, a plan that violates the historic 1964 Supreme Court decision. The conservitard justices have expressed interest in overturning that decision.
Now, before our resident drooling moron conservitards start capering and gibbering in joy, let me point out that Florida Man's bill takes away ALL protections from EVERYONE-- not just news outlets. The bill mentions specifically that that includes everything on the internet, including social media.
So Boiler could be sued for criticizing Biden, and so could stupid Tommie-poo. Millerscum could be sued for calling everyone on the planet a liar. Even Mother Fucker Tucker wouldn't be immune.
This is great for lawyers--and horrible for everyone else. That hasn't stopped conservitards in the shitkicker states from expressing rabid interest, aiming to copy the Florida bill and introduce it in their own states, slavering and barking at the thought of being able to sue those "woke liberals" for daring to criticize them.
