Florida Turns To Child Labor To Replace Immigrants

Soon kids as young as 14 will be able to take the overnight shift at employers. Under current Florida law they could work until 11 PM now they can work all night.

Go to school during the day, come home for a couple of hours and go work a 3rd shift and then straight to school after work. They removed the overnight restriction for 16 and 17 year-olds last year.

MAGA is making child labor great again.  We really are turning into a 3rd world shithole.

Florida is stuffed with nasty old goobers who only care about getting enough government money to pay for their Depends. Unfortunstely for them, they keep voting for MAGA, who are now stripping away their Medicare and Medicaid.

Bummer when you get what you vote for, ain't it?

This is great news for Bucktooth Barney and Betty Sue, though. Barney can't hold a job because he doesn't always come to in the morning, so all he and Betty have to do is pump out another couple o' rugrats and pretty soon--problem solved!

So no quote from DeSantis on Mark's claim?   Be careful before you claim there is.

Who cares what comes out of DeSantis' pie-hole? MAGA and DeSantis have already approved it. Now it's just a formality to get it signed into law.

What 14 year old can stay awake all night?

And what parent in their right mind would allow their 14 y/o child to work a night shift?

Desperate ones. And that is what makes it so dangerous. Putting 14 year-olds alongside adults working 3rd shifts is a recipe for disaster.

The reality is those 14 and 15 year olds that end up taking full-time jobs will end up dropping out of school and will be set-up by the MAGA  government for a lifetime of dead end low paying jobs.

What MAGA politician gives a flying crap whether people suffer and die? What Republican slime bucket cares whether people's lives are shorter and harder? What fucking billionaire kneeling before Trump has the veriest clue about what it's like to be poor, and having to choose between paying the rent and going to school?

The historical struggle has always been between the rich and the common man, and with two billionaires in charge of the government who are using the Constitution as toilet paper, we've lurched backwards a couple of centuries.

The glaring thing Pinocchio Lewis conviently overlooks and does not refer to is - no where does this legislation make it "mandatory" that these young people have to work at all. All this legislation would do is allow these young people to work "if they desire to do so".

Stupid fuck Millerscum is apparently so ignorant as to not know that child labor laws exist to prevent children from working excessive hours whether they "want to" or not. Such laws prevent them from being exploited.

I feel like I'm talking to an idiot. Jesus.

I know why the laws exist, I also know that some children want to work and this law allows them to work if they desire.  Your asinine rhetoric is just more liberal whining...
