The follow-up question NO Trumper can actually answer

Q: You say you plan to vote for Trump this time around. Why?

A: Well, he'd be better for the economy than Biden.

Q: Why? How so? What would he do?

(crickets)

It's truly amazing that millions of cementheads have this vague vision of Trump as savior of the economy and bringer of forty-cent gas (or something) without ANY idea of how he would supposedly bring that about.

We're a nation of idiots and will get the leader we deserve.

Well, Trump really hasn't said a word about policy, other than vengeance toward his enemies, and a little bit about deportations.

Right. So what makes his love-slaves think that he would be an improvement?

A Trump presidency would definitely be good for the wire coat hanger industry.

And the travel industry! From abortion persecution states.

My personal best guess is that another Biden presidency would result in a world less in keeping with what I prefer than a Trump presidency. As someone historically left of Marx, it pains me to have reached that relatively clear-cut conclusion. I base this on the manipulation of information vis-a-vis Covid 19 that occurred primarily under Biden. And it's been the Biden administration's shoulders on which the lies and censorship have stood tall. It's the biggest journalistic fail of my lifetime.

I'm an old journalism major. What I see from Biden in terms of public propaganda is actually worse and more far-reaching than what I saw under Trump. Trump lies and it's obvious. The Biden administration lies and puts mechanisms into play that cover the lies and censor dissent. I have to argue for free speech, and the fact is free speech will take less of a beating under Trump.

I'm kind of like Bill Maher, only I think Biden and the administrative corrupt blob that is American government is the worse of two evils. Maher hasn't gone that far...yet.

Lots of words. Not one single example or bit of evidence. 

But writing this amorphous blob makes you feel special. That's the endgame, isn't it?

And in your answer, remember what a "lie" is. It's a statement that the speaker/writer A) knows is false AND B) is intended to deceive. I can't think of a single statement by anyone in the Biden administration re covid that meets that definition.

But if you want a comparison...Trump's pronouncements that the pandemic would magically disappear and that everyone could cure themselves by drinking bleach. He knew that what he was saying was bullshit and intended to deceive the public by reassuring them that the pandemic wasn't as bad as it was---because he felt it was hurting his reelection chances. And hundreds of thousands of "extra" people died--some from actually listening to him, the evil, stupid shit.

Our government isn't transparent or free of corruption. But dude, if you think it was BETTER during the Trump administration...I can only shake my head in wonder.

The idea that the vaccine was "safe and effective," while true by American advertising standards in that no definition of "safe"or "effective" was established, was a lie. After the first two incarnations of the virus, the vaccine was arguably an overall cost versus a benefit to people, and was certainly so for certain age groups. Yet it continued to be peddled by the pharma companies and the Biden administration.

The Biden administration worked with online platforms to limit free speech vis-a-vis the vaccines. Despicable and utterly propagandistic with a Soviet style of information control.

Fauci said things to the public that were, in hindsight, obvious CYA bullshit. Covid almost undoubtedly leaked from a Wuhan lab, the research was being done with Fauci and the US government's knowledge, and actions were taken to prevent people from advertising those likelihoods. In the name of public good.

Frankly, if I have to choose between an idiot asking if I should be intaking bleach or an organized cartel manipulating public opinion and censoring people who know better, I gotta go with the bleach-drinker. He's no threat to me.

If you're not up on actual vaccine damages and such, not my fault. It was the Biden administration that was selling the idea that if you got the vaccine, you couldn't spread the virus. That lie, promulgated by everyone in the administration plus such media stalwarts as Rachel Maddow, is an enormous one. On the face of it, I don't see how any virologist could claim such a thing. It seemed over-the-top ridiculous at the time. I could not believe they were trying to sell that.

This was the biggest, most far-reaching lie of my lifetime. It blows away headlines saying we were winning the Vietnam war.

I'm sorry if you're vaxxed. I canceled two vax appointments by sheer dumb luck. It's not something that can be undone. All the damages and excess deaths and reveals to come of vaccine consequences are on both administrations, but primarily Biden's. They lied continually with hundreds of millions of lives in the balance.

That makes more Biden a no go. Literally anybody else is preferable.
