Doesn't that make him liable to be cited for contempt? He can and should be jailed immediately until he answers the grand jury.
It's appalling and disgusting how widespread this conspiracy was. It wasn't just Trump; in fact, since Trump was and is pretty fucking stooooopid, it's likely the idea was planted in his septic tank of a head by one of his fawning lackeys.
But will all these people be punished? Naah--only a few, and only very lightly. They should be chained up and have their balls chewed off by a rabid wolverine. But they'll actually get six months in a country club prison or something similar.
Since it as the grand jury level I suspect his argument will be disposed of rather quickly. They know what he said because they already heard from the Georgia Secretary of State and Governor. Miss Lindsey isn't going to be able to avoid being forced to testify unless he has a valid 5th amendment claim which would require him to tell the Judge he wants to invoke it and what he did that he thinks he will incriminate him if he testifies truthfully in front of the Grand Jury.
