Former US allies join together without US involvement, who could blame them?

Have you ever known someone socially or professionally who was insulting and demanding, but one day asked for your help, and you just walked away? Trump is that person. So funny.

Trump asked for help protecting the Straight of Hormuz, and our former staunch allies shrugged and waffled. The Drama Queen Trump pouted and proclaimed, "I didn't want their help anyway!"

Rebuffed by allies, Trump now says U.S. doesn't need help defending the Strait of Hormuz | NBC News

Now our former staunch allies need to protect their interests, but for them, America first means America can deal with it alone. They've decided to work together without US involvement. You can't blame them, who would want to work with a loudmouth, selfish, idiot?

Canada, allies say they're ready to help secure Strait of Hormuz, but don't say how | CBC News

"Canada signed on to the statement shortly after it was published by the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan. In addition, the leaders say they are ready to "contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the strait.""

I suspect they are going to cut a deal to allow safe passage for their ships. For example they might agree to pay Iran tolls We truly are alone thanks to Orange Adolf.

Trump has shamed them into stepping up to do the right thing. No longer will America depend on these nations to do what is right, as seen with NATO. America leads, these nations follow.

Trump has shamed only America, and himself. And "leading" an undeclared, illegal, immoral, murderous war is nothing to be proud of

Yeah, Iran has no reason to be mad at them. Also, while we might be able to tolerate the cutting off of Persian Gulf oil, Europe really can't. Of course, American consumers are still being fucked over by World War Trump, but the Turd himself isn't being affected in the slightest.

Those former US allies aren't going to propose a military solution, not least because there is no such solution, even with big brawny muscular US might. I think you might be correct in that a toll could be negotiated. The Strait of Hormuz is international waters, though, so there might be legal issues. And I wonder what would happen if a country sent a tanker through those waters, refusing to pay that toll?
