Frikkin' SNOW!2/10/2019

Seattle basically closed down. 5-8 inches of white stuff. We are just not used to it!

It's not real snow like back East,it's like cold outmeal and terrible to drive in.Snot-slippery.

12 " in Michigan is easier to push around that 2 " of Seattle snow.

So soon,I will get cabin fever.

I have food and water and propane to keep warm and.....electricity,unlike parts of Michigan.

  Please,no earthquakes now.

Good luck on finding ice melter granules. NOT available here.

I have been using windshield washer fluid and cheap beer!

Beer freezes @ 27* so no good.

I found some ice melter on Fee Pay,but it won't be here until Tuesday,VIA U.P.S.

Now,it's snowing sideways.

I'm looking forward to my Las vegas trip in 37 days. Get me out of Seattle!

Sorry 'bout that, Dave.

When I retired, my greatest wish was for some really big snowfalls in my town so I could celebrate not having to get up at 2 am to make it to work, and not having to sweat how many of my staff would "call in sick" leaving us few loyal ones to tote the load.

Well, four years out and we havent had a big one yet!  We used to have at least one or two 3-5 inch snowfalls a year, and many ice storms making the roads awful.   Of course those power outages were no fun either, so at least there have been fewer of those.  The heavy stuff seems to be hitting the northern (usual) and southern (not so usual) parts of the state more than where I am, in the middle.

Hope your airport isn't snowed in and cancelling flights in 36 days!  Good luck.
