So if Trump was "misled," I suppose he will be apologizing soon? Shall we place bets?

You really should reset your priorities as to what is imprortant - the economy, the border, inflation, - or - whether President Trump needs to apologize for being given misleading information. Apparently the left has brainwashed you to the extent that almost any really unimportant event will take your focus off of what is really important while keeping you in the dark about what really is important.

Has he ever apologized for any of his lies? EVER?

I'll give anyone who wants 1000-1 odds that he won't apologize for this.

Actually, before any of those things I prioritize character. Someone who always thinks they are right, never apologizes, and never asks forgiveness is severely lacking in character. They don't qualify as my employee, my friend, or my president.

The economy is doing fine, the border would be secure if Trump and the Republiholes hadn't sabotaged the bill that would have fixed it, and inflation is a worldwide phenomenon that has been less severe here than the rest of the industrialized world. So even if those issues are paramount in one's mind, there's no reason to believe they would improve with Trump in charge. In fact, there's a strong consensus that he would totally fuck up the economy if he implemented his avowed policies.

But I agree with you. Trump's an asshole. I don't want an asshole for my President even if he actually will wave his tiny dick like a magic wand and make everything perfect, as he promises to do. And as far as character goes--how do you think Trump would handle any kind of national or international crisis? We've already seen how he completely and totally fucked up the response to the pandemic.

I'll respond  to stupid asshole David, just to show him how stupidly wrong he is.

The inflation figures are distorted. The red figure is a yearly measure, while the blue figure is for almost four years. Adjusting the red figure to reflect reality, inflation over the entire course of Trump's term was 7.6%. And that includes his last year in office, when the economy went into the tank. So yeah, we had low inflation then--because of all those businesses that were shut down and all those people sick and dying. Yay Trump!

Gas is $2.99 a gallon here, and Oregon's gas prices are higher than the national average. Gas prices during the Trump administration averaged about $3 a gallon, except during the worst of the pandemic. You can't give Trump credit for that!

The rest of that chart is similarly idiotic. "No change" in electricity prices during Trump's term? My ass!!!

These distorted figures give Trump "credit" for the economy going into the shitter during the last year of his presidency. David's widdle chart is bullshit.

He'll respond with a nasty personal attack, which will not make his widdle chart any less bullshit. You lose, David. Game, set, and match.

Mark said, "Is Trump going to govern and make policies based upon the conspiracy theories he finds on the Internet?"  For all the problems with Trump, his ignorance, his lying, his vindictiveness, his overall character, this may be the most frightening.  Can you imagine a President cherry-picking his information based on his prejudices and whims, basing his decisions (potentially military decisions) on wild-ass conspiracy theories that have been debunked by reputable sources?  Or worse, fabricating lies that justify his decisions (like the Poles attacking a radio station near the border)?

Wait, you mean after Biden signed 200 executive orders to open up the border and undo all of Trump's policies that had decent border restrictions and keeping people in Mexico before processing, many which were signed on the first day after Biden said surge the border?

Maybe it was the $60,000,000,000 attached to the 'border bill' being given to Ukraine for *their* border is what stopped sane people from voting for a measly 1500 agents.  Remember, Trump only asked for $5 billion for border enforcement and now just NYC is spending billions per year on illegals in their city alone.

Cloward-Piven for those that have some sense of what's going on here.  It's to lead to the collapse of our social fabric and change the political system.

Aaron, if you're going to make shit up, why not go whole hog? Add a few more zeros to your made-up $60 billion figure. Tell us that Biden signed 2,000 executive orders--or 2 million! (The real figure is 142, on all topics, not just the border.)

And Aaron...our social system hasn't "collapsed" as long as nutjobs like you can come into public forums and rave and babble nonsensically.
