Vance encouraged his supporters to keep it up, calling the spreading of this vicious conspiracy theory "patriotic."
He and Trump have repeatedly crossed the line between simple lies and innunendo to inciting hate and getting people harmed, injured, or killed. They should both be in prison right now.
