• January 12, 2024 10:30 Nevada 11th in 2023 for One-Way U-Hauls: U-Haul's annual ranking of growth states for 2023 has been released. Each year, U-Haul compiles its Growth Index by calculating "the net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks arriving in a state or city, versus departing from that state or city." These migration patterns are aggregated from more than two million one-way U-Haul moving-truck transactions. Not surprisingly, Texas took the top growth-state honor for the third year in a row; it's also the state's sixth first-place finish in the past eight years. Florida ranked second for the third consecutive year; it's been in the top three for the past eight years. Nevada climbed two places, from 13th in 2022 to 11th in 2023. North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Idaho, Washington, Colorado, and Virginia placed third through 10th, while Michigan (46), New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, and California (50) are the bottom five states for growth in 2023. California had the highest out-migration for the third year in a row, according to the survey. --- People are literally "hauling ass" out of the disasterous, corrupt Blue DemocRat controlled cities and states and moving to sane, Red states. Americans are fed up with the corrupt DemocRats and are speaking by moving.
