I suspect illegal is easy to interpret as criminal. Perhaps in a strict sense it is. I don't know if my yard man is undocumented or a naturalized citizen. He has been doing my yard, and gutters, and many other helpful things for years. I'd guess that so many doing roof work (usually under supervision of another) could be undocumented.

Hi Candy. I hope that you're doing well. There is a level between undocumented and naturialized citizen. My dear friend who is like family was a refugee from Vietnam and has a green card that allows her status to stay and work in the country. She isn't a citizen. There are situations when a green card can be revoked and the person removed from the country. However, it's a very lenghty and expensive process. It took us a 5 year court process to determine that she could remain in the country. Take care.
