  Yesterday, we heard Fulton County Commissioner Bridget Thorne confirm what many suspected: “We… have spent millions of dollars in outside legal counsel to fight anybody from ever seeing the actual election materials, the actual ballots, since 2020.” All while officials admitted there were issues with the election and still blocked every effort to inspect the physical ballots. Then Georgia State Election Board Vice Chair Dr. Janice Johnston responded to Sen. Jon Ossoff calling this “a sore loser’s crusade”: “Senator Ossoff just doesn’t get it. This is not about President Trump. This is about the conduct of the election and the accurate counting of the ballots and the votes… This is about elections in Georgia for the people of Georgia.” Dr. Johnston says Fulton County: - Lawyered up the moment subpoenas were issued - Spent hundreds of thousands in taxpayer dollars fighting the State Election Board - Has almost 18,000 missing ballot images from the official recount - And over 380,000 ballot images not kept from election night (a violation of law and destruction of election records) “We already know there are violations with this 2020 election. The question is… was there obstruction or cover-up?” Now the FBI and DOJ have the ballots, envelopes, and records Fulton fought to hide for four years.
