Funny, Wyoming Republicans in favor of individual rights, until they're not

Oops, their constitutional amendment thwarts their abortion ban, pretty funny.

Judge Turns Tables on Wyoming Republicans to Block Abortion Ban - Newsweek

"On Monday, Teton County District Judge Melissa Owens ruled that two Wyoming laws restricting and banning abortion violated the state's constitution. She said the laws impeded the "fundamental right to make health care decisions for an entire class of people, pregnant women."

As part of her argument, she cited a 2012 amendment that said, "Each competent adult shall have the right to make his or her own health care decisions.""

"Republicans who feared government overreach from then-President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act made the amendment, as the law initially required people to have health insurance."

They were very concerned that people would be forced to have health insurance, and now they've prevented themselves from forcing people to carry an nonviable fetus to term. It seems their priorities are skewed.

Well, given that Wyoming IS an abortion, they should allow it.

Chase all the white cowboys out and give the place back to the natives, the grizzly bears, and the buffalo.
