We have been over this before, so lets try again.

The House Committee on Natural Resources revealed that the time it takes to obtain a permit for oil and gas exploration on state lands is about 12 to 15 days, but that it takes about 307 days to permit for onshore drilling on federal land.

The permits approved in 2021 were mostly permits that had been started in 2020 while Trump was president.  The 2017 permits were started under obama who was also not enthusiastic about oil drilling.

While we are at it the 9,000 permit stat has now been reduced to 6,000.   

I wonder if that's the same buddy who told Boiler about the black people bumping into white people terror in Chicago.

The Biden administration has leased fewer acres for oil-and-gas drilling offshore and on federal land than any other administration in its early stages dating back to the end of World War II, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis. President Biden’s Interior Department leased 126,228 acres for drilling through Aug. 20, his first 19 months in office, the analysis found. No other president since Richard Nixon in 1969-70 leased out fewer than 4.4 million acres at this stage in his first term.

Todd, is easy enough information to find on the interweb.  If you really wanted to know the truth, why didn't you do your research?  What's  stupid about this subject, other that Lib policies have forced us to buy from our enemy?

Biden approved at 2% of the next lowest approval. toad is welcome to provide an update, but I doubt that in the last 6 months the numbers have gotten any better but the toad is welcome to try. 

Acreage isn't the significant metric. Number of leases is. Record number under Biden. Our resident conservitards are almost certainly ignorant of the fact that leases granted these days are overall smaller in size, due to land values and ownership issues.
