Gas Prices Soaring Nationwide

The BLM approves the leases, not the president

Thats the department of the Interior - which is run by the executive branch of the government.    And that's Joe Biden's admnistration unless you took a very different civics class than I did.

So, yeah---explain why the anti-oil Biden Administration signed a record number of oil lease permits.

Well, things happen differently in Stupid Tommie-poo World than in the real world. You've seen how rabidly anti-Biden stupid Tommie-poo is. Everything bad is his fault; he deserves no credit for anything good.

That may sound really, really dumb, but remember, stupid Tommie-poo was one of the idiots who voted for an orange con artist--TWICE.

The simple truth is that the oil industry has no intention of expanding supply, which might affect their all-time record profits. They like things as they are, with people not buying food or clothing so they have enough money for gas to get to work.

PJ keeps referring to 2021 which mostly included lease requests the were already in the pipeline from President Trump.  For example there were over 600 approvals in April 2021 & approvals declined sharply after that point.

Lets look at 2022.

From Politico

Interior Department approvals to drill oil and gas wells on public lands have dropped significantly in recent months, a shift from 2021. The Bureau of Land Management in January approved just 95 permits for oil and natural gas wells across federal lands in the United States.  February was 186.

Thru August 2022 only 126k acres were approved, far below the 4+m average & no other administration has approved less than 1m acres.

The BLM does not initiate land lease requests.  Oil companies do.    Thank you, Captain Obvious.     And if you've had your  eyes open for the last 3 years  that data should not  surprise you.    We needed more drilling coming out of COVID after it was shut down.  And now its leveling off.

But you could very easily make your point, Tom, by showing how many of the land lease requests were rejected in 2022 - like I asked and you ignored 3 pages ago.    Or you can look at the increasing record production of domestic output which calls bullshit on every point you've tried to make on this thread.

Does pj know the difference between requests and approved? Requests for permits are being made but they are not being approved as shown by only 281 approvals in 2 months & the record low in approved acres in 2022.

Then you can easily show that data that backs your point, cant you Tom?  Or cant you, Tom?

And you still need to explain why the Biden Adminsitration is approving lease requests since you've been telling us all along that they are blocking them.

I left lots of space below to show your work.

Stupid Tommie-poo keeps focusing on acreage, because you keep refuting him.

Then you can easily show that data that backs your point

I have referenced every source.  if you can't read, I can't help you.  Sorry stupid kevin, acreage is important, but you don't like the data, so as usual when you don't like the facts you say they don't count.

I am tired of repeating myself so you 2 can go play with each other

Tom - it is apparent that trying to engage these morons in an intelligent, truthful discussion is a complete waste of time. All they know how to do is lie - do yourself a favor and not engage these idiots in conversation. You can not change stupid...

Millerscum doesn't know how to engage in rational conversation. At least stupid Tommie-poo  tries (and fails).
