Gas Prices Soaring Nationwide

He is taking out almost 19 million acres & maybe allowing 8 million acres.  That is a negative 11m acres.

I'm so sorry, Boilerman.  WHat part of the article are you having trouble reading....it is written in English and I even cut and paste a key point he made.    Here it is again for everyones' amusement:

Eventually, they're going to have to hire more in order for the supply chain to meet the demands and the slow and steady growth that is expected from the sector over the years.”

Boilerman says we are not not drilling.  Boilerman's expert source says he expects growth.   Those two things are mututally exclusive.  Which means either Boilerman is full of shit....or the guy he picked as his expert source of information is.     Or Boilerman made up some bullshit and tried to make it sound credible by name dropping someone (THATS MY BET).

Boilerman's expert source  also reaffirmed these points which I have made previously:

- Oil companies are struggling with finding labor and supplies

- Oil companies are enjoying record profits and are cautious not to go back to an environment of oversupply where they lose money.

What Boilerman's expert source  didnt say:

- Joe BIden wont let the oil companies drill.

What other reading comprehension issues can I help with today ?

I spoke with Jesse during a break in the meeting, and asked him where he saw US oil and gas demand vs supply in a decade.  He was vague on his innitial answer, so I asked him if US production would be able to meet US demand in a decade, and his answer was "Very unlikely."

Boil sure can name-drop and tell some whoppers....

Well, that's interesting, since I flew SW Airlines to Hobby landing about 1pm on Wedneday.  I met Pete (retired oil and gas executive for a foreign British Petroleum sized oil and gas company), Carl (current oil and gas sector executive), and Jerry (owner of a Farmer's Insurance agency) for cocktails at the Cellar Bar.  We then walked next door to El Tiempo for some outstanding Mexican food.

I stayed at the Hyatt Place Hotel in the Gallaria on night one, and walked next door to the Hyatt Regency Thursday morning for breakfast.  The meeting began at the Hyatt with the first speaker from Solvay Chemicals at 8am.  Jesse spoke around 2pm, if I recall correctly.  The meeting's last speaker wrapped up at 5pm.  I then drove to Pete's home in Champion's Forest.  We went out for cocktails and dinner Thursday evening, and then went to Champions Country Club Friday morning for a couple of cocktails, plus some chipping and putting.  Then off to Buffalo Wild Wings for the 11am Purdue basketball game on BTN.

After the game, I drove back to Hobby.  I stepped off the plane in Indy at 7:30pm Friday evening.

BTW, the rental car was cheap.  Alamo Hyundai Tucson for $67 including tax for three days.  Flight was about $500, hotel $175, plus around $300 for food and beverage.  Add in $175 to attend the meeting, plus $105 (if I recall correctly) to join the Houston Energy Group.  Oh, and $27 for Indy airport parking.  If I didn't attend this meeting, as Kevin assures us, then I'll have to be very creative burying this $1200 trip on my expense report.

By the way, Champions Golf Club is a very cool old school club.  It has hosted the Ryder Cup, The PGA Championship, the Shell Houston Open, the Tour Championship, and most recently the 2020 Women's US Open.

Jackie Burke just sold the place to his son and grandson.  Jackie won 16 PGA events including the Masters and the PGA Championship MANY years ago.  His co-founder, Jimmy Demaret, won 36 PGA events, including 3 Masters wins.  Jackie recently turned 100, and while I did not see him on this trip, I have met him twice and enjoyed cocktails with him once about ten years ago.  Well......Jackie quit drinking 50 years ago, so four of the five of us were cocktailing that day.

You cant take out something that didnt exist.   So you're math is about as accuratte as the time you informed us about the 80 trillion dollar Green New Deal.

The Willow Project is greater in size than anything Trump opened up.  SO you need to explain how oil-blocking Biden agreed to it....and how that jives with your bullshit story.

The Biden administration announced Sunday evening that it is indefinitely blocking 16 million acres of federal land and water in Alaska from future fossil fuel drilling. In addition, President Biden ordered an additional 2.8 million of acres to be withdrawn from oil and gas leasing in the Beaufort Sea in the Arctic Ocean off the northern coast of Alaska.

Pj, the biden gang took 19m acres off the market.  Looks pretty simple to me

The land was never in the market and never had any drilling.....so its the same today as it was yesterday.  Whati s different is the alotment of new land in the Willow Project that you cant seem to explain in the context of your Joe Biden "oppressing the oil industry" fairy tale.     And thats on top of the record amount of land he opened in the Inflation Reduction Act   (thats the one you supported Republicans voting against)

Very nice story, Boiler, with lots of fake details. Here's the problem: if you had actually been there, you wouldn't have completely misunderstood the keynote speaker's message--that the oil industry is booming and garnering record profits.

So you're either a liar, or stupid, or both. But you are an excellent fiction writer.

Well, that's because you're a pretty simple person. As in, simple-minded.

"Off the market" is completely incorrect, because that land was never ON the market, just like national parks, federal wilderness, and other protected areas. Bid DID open up 8 million acres of protected federal wildlife refuge to drilling. So the net gain for the oil industry was 8 million acres.

Stupid, simple Tommie-poo.
