RIP He reminds me of a time when Republicans weren't so insane. I suspect wherever he is now he is delivering his favorite David Cop-a-Feel joke to young ladies.
A republican that believed in protecting the environment and sensible gun laws. And a commander in chief that had a plan and endgame for invading Iraq.
The pendulum has gone a long way.
But the liberals ripped President Bush apart when he was president, now they pretend he was great.
They ripped policy they disagreed with....and embraced policy they did not. They did not breed the unhinged contempt for the man himself ala conservatives with the Clintons...and Obama.
The first gulf war garnered plenty of support on both sides of the aisle. And HW's biggest so-called gaff "Read my lips, no new taxes" was actually a lesson in courage when he broke that promise by recognizing basic arithmetic. Paul Ryan and Larry Kudlow dont possess that courage or honesty.
Such as the fake NY Times story about the checkout, which turned out to be President Bush examing some new technology that was being tested,

The Bush family has more class than the Obama's, Trump's, and Clinton's combined.
