I am surprised it has taken this long.  I think the majority are all for it.  It will be interesting to see if the dems will go to the airports to protest and completly shut some of the airports down and thus make things even worse

I remember the airline industry operating just fine for quite some time before the TSA existed. 

The TSA  has not stopped operating so I'm not even sure what the heck he's talking about. 

I get really confused with this "open borders" accusation.

 There are two things that I often hear from the same people  "Obama and Biden had an open border and let illegals pour in" and "Obama and Biden deported way more people than Trump"

News flash: what does ICE stand for? How is airport security involved with either of their functions?

I at first thought they might bring in the national gaurd, but bringing in Ice might change some peoples attitude towards the agency.  It could be genius, if they can keep lines moving and get credit for helping the public.  I am not in favor of the dems shutting down parts of our government and hurting working families

Oh, for Christ's sake. Why repeat that tiresome propaganda about "the Dems" being solely responsible for the partial shutdown? The Republicans could end it at any time by making ONE SMALL compromise. Whose fault is it when one side refuses to budge an inch?

I do want to know just how ICE agents standing by TSA lines and scowling at people, pulling brown people out of line to interrogate and frisk them, and screaming at people to show ID or be shot is going to speed things up or improve the public's perception of the agency.

As far as your noble objection to "hurting working families," what do you think Trumpiffs and skyrocketing gas prices are doing? Suddenly, you care?

Let's cut the Gordian knot. What on earth would be wrong with "open borders" (which we don't have and never have had)? The EU has them. They function just fine, and they save billions every year by not having to finance border controls.

And yeah, yeah, I know, all them criminals and rapists blah blah blah. Never mind the FBi stats that show that you're safer among immigrants (legal or illegal) than you are among American citizens.

Really, North America can and should function like the EU. It's only Republican racism that blocks that idea from consideration. The concept of treating FEELTHY MESSKINS as equals in any way gives conservatives the heebie-jeebies.
