Giving money to illegal families is one of the dumbest ideas ever

Liberals first decide it's best to eliminate and neuter police departments.  Now they are taking it a bit further and rewarding those who break the law for entering our country illegally.  Just one more carrot to encourge more illegal activity.

I had to educate Tommie-poo, so I'll try (probably futilely) to educate you. The families that were separated were trying to enter the country LEGALLY. They presented themselves at the border and requested asylum. Trump's stooge, Miller, illegally and arbitraily declared them criminals--without the participation of any court--so that he could punish them by taking away their children.

So the Trump administration committed serious crimes against these families, and reparations are definitely in order.

Just a hint for you, Boiler--not every nonwhite person trying to enter the US is an "ILLLLLEEEEEEGALLLLL." You keep bleating and bleating and bleating that word, but in using it to refer to these poor people who are trying to get their children back--you're simply lying.

Do I approve?   Absolutely !    In fact, I'd say civil compensation doesn't even begin to bring justice to this issue.     The architects of Trump Administration's abhorrent child stripping policy should be rotting in prison.      They fully admit this policy was never passed in the context of protecting children...but the exact opposite.   It was a punitive punishment which purposefully induced the worst suffering as a deterrent to convince other immigrants from coming to the US.  Those families will never fully recover...and those kids will never have normal lives.   

Of all the horrible things Trump and his scumbag KKk advisor, Stephen Miller, did in their term this was easily the worst.   Both of them deserve life in prison.    And anyone who identifies as an evangelical Christian who blesses this policy can explain it to their maker on judgement day.   This is in the realm of war crimes as far as I am concerned.

oh, and please don't lecture me about Democrats wasting tax dollars on this endeavor.   Republicans are spending millions of tax dollars to recount votes from 2020 in order to appease the big sore loser.    Democrats are doing the morally responsible thing with tax dollars....Republicans are using tax dollars to continue the Jan 6 coup by underming the election.

Asylum seeking is legal under 8 U.S.C. § 1157.
