Global warming "expert" and media darling, Michael Mann refuses to produce data, loses lawsuit

Penn State's Micheal Mann sued Penn States Tim Ball for libel after Ball said, amoung other things,  that "Mann should be at State Pen, not Penn State.  Liberals still buy into Mann's "hockey stick" argument that temps will spike, yet Mann is unwilling to show his data, his notes, and everything that he has on the topic.  Ball has argued that not only did Mann "cherry picked" data, and lied at data.  It's a scam, yet the Left still laps it up.

It gets even worse for the entire scientific community and their worldwide conspiracy of phony studies.  Climate scientist and intellectual giant, James Inhofe, completely debunked decades of data from NASA scientists with one simple observation.   He found a snowball in Februrary.

Al Gore's entire argument was based on Michael Mann's work.  Mann not only cherry picked data and ignored other data, he falsified yet other data.  Mann and Gore jointly won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 based on Mann's falsified reports, and Gore's books and movies telling us about the falsified reports.  The preminent European global warming scientist was also found to have falsified, lied and fabricated his data.  Liberals learn about the lies, yet still believe the liars, and this seems odd to me.

You have to realize, PJ, that for Boilerman and others like him, climate change denial is a sign of adherence to the Republican faith. It doesn't need to be supported by facts or logic.

I am continually amazed, though I probably shouldn't be, at the ignorance of Trump, Trumpers, Republicans in general, and foolhards like Snowball Man in not understanding the distinction between climate and weather. Normally, I say let morons be morons, but in this case, their ignorance is killing us.

It was about more than name-calling.

The pertinent point is that Mr. Mann brought suit against Mr. Ball who claimed that Mr. Mann's "hockey-stick" graph purporting to show an unprecedented warming trend was a fraud.

"He (Mr. Ball) argued that the hockey stick was a deliberate fraud, something that could be proved if one had access to the data and calculations, in particular the R2 regression analysis, underlying it. Mann refused to produce these documents. He was ordered to produce them by the court and given a deadline. He still refused to produce them, so the court dismissed his case."

The referenced article concludes: "it is absurd for Mann to sue Ball for libel, and then refuse to produce the documents that would have helped to show whether Ball’s statement about him–'i.e. he belongs in the state pen'–was true or false."

i.e. Mr Mann refused to produce data to support his now largely debunked hockey-stick graph pertaining to global warming.
