As usual, Saint Mark has all of the facts - and outrage. I'll wait until the full story is told before I will call someone a f-----g idiot.

There has never been a player that I am aware of that has been caught on videotape (twice) paying to have sex with a sex trafficking victim. It is a first in NFL history.  I guarantee you if there had been a player caught in this sting and his crime was on tape for all the world to see, he would have already been released from his team.

It just shows the double standard in this country. If your rich and republican, you can do anything you want and probably get away with it.But if your a "worker bee" so to speak, your career is probably over.ALA Kaepernick.

Mark, Mark, Mark, there you go again, Eugene Robinson was with a hooker the night before the Superbowl and played in the game. Many other NFL players were accused a rape and still played. I am glad Mark that you are so perfect, I do not blame the rich and famous for wanting a pro, as long as they are of age and willing, their chances of getting blackmailed are far less, I have been married 33 years and have been faithful but I refuse to be a hyprocrite, and we do not know Bob Kraft situation, maybe his girlfriend gave him her blessing, we do not know. A lot of Rich people  break the law both Democrats and Republicans, I have tons of friends and family that do not share my politcal views and I love them all. Your hatred towards Republicans is sad.

Molly, I agree with some of what you say, but here is your key misfire.

...I do not blame the rich and famous for wanting a pro, as long as they are of age and willing...

If it were just a private transaction between two consenting adults, I would largely agree with you. However, these women were not consenting adults. According to various news stories, they were held there against their will and forced to service eight men a day seven days a week. They didn't have homes or apartments.  They slept on the massage tables after the business closed.  None of them spoke English.  Kraft is lucky. In a lot of jurisdictions, Kraft would have been charged with some form of felony rape since the people servicing him were incapable of giving consent.

Let's contrast this with how Lawernce Taylor was treated albeit after his football career was over. He was caught having sex with a prostitute at a Holiday Inn.  He was charged with third-degree rape.  The girl was under 18 and a sex trafficking victim. Mr. Taylor had no reason to believe the girl was under 18 or a sex trafficking victim. In fact, he asked, and she told him she was 19. She showed up at his room unaccompanied.  He got six years of probation and had to register as a sex offender.  His post-NFL career as a sports broadcaster and endorser was over.

You brought up Eugene Robinson.  He made one mistake. He got caught trying to hire a consenting adult. He never completed the act. There was no video replay to embarrass the league over and over. It was literally a one-time thing and Eugene Robinson immediately took responsibility for his actions.  All that being said, Robinson never got any lucrative post-NFL work because of this one incident.

Mr. Kraft got caught not once but twice. According to TMZ, both incidents are on video from start to finish including the cleanup afterward. TMZ said the videos will eventually be made public so Kraft will continue to embarrass the sport for as long as he is part of it.  Kraft is trying to be cute claiming he is innocent while knowing there is video footage of him engaging in these crimes. If I were him, I'd take the misdemeanor charges. If he keeps trying to be cute, law enforcement is going to interview these girls and look at the records of the business to try and determine how many more times they think they can prove Kraft frequented this business. He got caught twice over a four-day period, so I suspect he was a regular.

You mentioned there is nothing wrong with wanting a pro. I agree. However,  a pro does not work for $59.  And as I said above, it doesn't take a lot of common sense to realize that something is amiss when you are offered a $59 blowjob.  That is less than the going rate for a toothless meth addict.  If Kraft would have hired a pro, she could have come to his home or his hotel room and serviced him with no repercussions.  Hell, he could have hired Elsa Jean for $1,500.

Some positions come with rules of conduct that are above and beyond what normal citizens must adhere to. For example, doctors, school teachers, police officers, attorneys and in may other occupations getting caught soliciting a prostitute would be a career ender.

Here is what the NFL's official policy on personal conduct states.

"It is a privilege to be part of the National Football League. Everyone who is part of the league must refrain from 'conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in' the NFL," the policy states. "This includes owners, coaches, players, other team employees, game officials, and employees of the league office, NFL Films, NFL Network, or any other NFL business."

Are they going to uphold that standard?

Owner Jim Irsay accepted responsibility for his actions and got a 6-week suspension for one misdemeanor OWI.  How long a suspension should Kraft get for two separate incidents where he isn't willing to accept responsibility for his actions in either incident?

Mark, step away from your pulpit and let the facts be known. I don't believe that this case is as open and shut as your mind is.

Mark - you said that if a player did that the player would be banned. Since being challenged on that statement you have been sidestepping that with numerous ramblings that have yet to prove that statement.

Mark writes: " . . . he could have hired Elsa Jean for $1,500."

Poor old DonDiego just Googled "Elsa Jean".   She sure is purty.
