More kevin ignorance as NYC ranks last in green space.

If each resident of New York were allocated his or her own patch of grass from the city’s existing green spaces, we each would get 146 sq ft. Sound like a sizeable lawn to you? Apparently not. Last week, telematics company Geotab published a study that depicted the amount of green space per a person in major cities across the United States. Out of the 15 U.S. cities in the study, New York came in last.

Mark's article still shows a net migration with a population growth of almost 2% in one year & none of those that leave are moving back to the northern states.

According to Census Bureau data, between April 2020 and July 2022, New York City’s estimated population slumped from 8.80 million to 8.34 million, a drop of roughly 468,000 residents & $3.7 illion in revenue— nearly 5.3% of the city’s total population.

About hurricanes

as if it was a total surprise and they had no way of preparing for it. A sane state would spend money (GAWRSH! Gummint a'spendin'!) to prepare for and mitigate the damage.

kevin lies again

After a hurricane Florida is up and running within a few days. NYC took over 10 years to rebuild from 1 hurricane.

Disney isn't going anywhere.

Florida gets hit by 200 hurricanes for every one that hits NYC. So who do you think should spend more money on hurricane preparedness?

DUHHHHH, stupid Tommie-poo.

Florida sounds like paradise hurricanes, algae blooms and dengue.

New York sounds like and is (1) Ruined by DemmocRat rule, (2) unaffordable, (3) over run with illegals, who will and have changed New York for the worse, (4) having a mass exodus of people to red states.

Don't forget about trillions of mosquitos, and old men getting their dicks out and waving them around while watching Trump videos on their phones.

There are very few "illegals" in New York City. Many LEGAL migrants are there now. Illegal immigrants don't wind up in expensive cities, unless they go there with government permission and assistance, at which point they have become LEGAL immigrants/migrants.

I don't know why you conservitards have such difficulty grasping this very simple concept.

You claim to know where people are going when they leave New York City. How do you know? Or did you pull that claim straight out of your ass?

New York City isn't "ruled" by any one political party. It is governed by elected officials.

If NYC was "unaffordable," no one would live there, right?

So all four of your statements are WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG, and you're a LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR.

Poor Davey Dog  Refuted and schooled again, and lacking the balls to admit it. Woof woof!

kevin lies again.  Florida gets an average of 1 hurricane per year; while NY gets one every few years.

Stupid Kevin proves my point. Hurricane Idalia was a category 4 hurricane & Florida was up and running within a few days.  Damage was assessed and cleanup began.

NY gets hit with hurricanes, tropical storms & blizzards.  Each one knocks out the city for weeks and years

Tom always does provide tons of "sources" like CSMP would say to refute Kevin.  I'm going to guess CSMP approves of Tom's responses.

Kevin's rebuttals to Tom are pretty weak from what I'm reading, usually taking one of Tom's points and making some from-the-hip comment.

Let's analyze stupid Tommie-poo's statements.

NYC "gets one every few years."

Each one "knocks out the city for weeks and years." That would be a minimum, by that statement, of two years and two weeks.

So NYC would be, in stupid Tommie-poo world, almost always "knocked out."

Stupid Tommie-poo.

You're not objective. You have a built-in bias, and you decided to ride in the shortbus with Tom some time ago.

When Tom said that NYC doesn't have parks, he left out that big parky thang in the middle of the city. He also told us that NYC is flattened by hurricanes every year and takes more than two years to recover. Then why are there all them big pointy buildings?

Stupid Tom, when Mark schooled him by telling him how many people are leaving Florida, "countered" by saying that none of them are moving to northern states. So what? (And like he actually knows where they're going.)

I certainly don't take stupid Tommie-poo's idiot illogic, fake-ass "sources," and weak, weak, weak, weak, weak arguments seriously. I don't deploy more than a tiny fraction of my total effort to refute him. He lives in the past, thinks that our energy grid should stay in the 19th century, and Jesus, does he have a Biden obsession.

The article was misinformation, implying that rates increase 900%

Florida homeowners are paying more on average for insurance than any other state in the country and rates increased about 40% this year, according to Mark Friedlander, a spokesman for the Insurance Information Institute, a U.S. industry association based out of New York

Rates are increasing nationwide

From May 2022 to May 2023, home insurance policy premiums increased by an average of 21% at renewal, according to the 2023 Policygenius Home Insurance Pricing Report.
