So there were a whole bunch of good guys in Highland Park, IL today, namely armed police, but that didn't stop some angry white guy from murdering at last count six people trying to celebrate independence.

Whatever he "is into" is total conjecture on you part. Your comment as to where he could get a firearm only proves the point that criminals (and murderers) have access to guns and have no qualms about using them - taking guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens is why there are so many shootings and murders in Chicago and other cities/states that have strick guns laws that do not allow citizens to protect themselves. Find a way to take the guns out of the hands of criminals, - until this is done, I and millions of other law abiding citizens will purchase and utilize their Constitutional right to bear arms.

It was so pleasant here in the SEWER yesterday without foul mouthed Lewis spewing his filth - for a brief few hours I thought that he had been justifiedly barred - such a shame, for the SEWER had resembled the Sink of old.
