Good Question

Any thoughts? - Image may contain: 1 person, meme, text that says 'jleffel68 IF WE'RE CLOSING DOWN ALL "NON ESSENTIAL" BUSINESSES WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT STILL OPEN?'

The South Korea government responded with big, big, MASSIVELY BIG GOVERNMENT intervention. They engaged in a big government shut down, engaged in big government contact-tracing, and engaged in big government spending when it came to early testing.

269 deaths so far.

Sounds like a competent government is essential. Too bad we don't have one.

Remember, the standard conservative holy chant, ever since doddering old Ronnie Reagan, is "government is bad." Their utopia would be a country with no government at all, apparently.

Stalker may not understand, even at this late juncture, why businesses were ordered closed. Probably too late to educate him now.

Actually, I have forgotten more about how things work than Kevin will ever know. Did you ever wonder how those who run their mouths the most seem to always know the least? I give you Mr. Know-It-All, Kevin.

Asking the question that begins this thread pretty much confirms that you're a know-nothing. It's a really stupid question based on an equally stupid premise. A child could understand why.

It is called "satire", a concept even you should be able to grasp. By the way, where has Congress been the past few months? Oh I know, sitting in their mansions eating ice cream while still getting paid to essentially do nothing as mandated by Pukelosi. Just another typical DemocRatic House majority response.
