Are they breaking our laws?  I believe that anyone who attacked a cop in the capital should have gone to jail.  The problem is that Liberal judges put on max penalties over and over again when the same judges give lenient jail time to non-Trump supporters.  A double standard.

In all but four cases, the guilty murderer-rioters received much, much less severe sentences than the prosecution had asked for. Six months probation instead of four years incarceration.
