I'm sure you've read about his throttling cross-border trade by imposing new inspection rules. These unnecessary obstacles are apparently a hissy fit in response to an upcoming policy change for border crossings.
All this does is drive up prices and create supply chain bottlenecks for all the goods that are being brought north. It's just another example of how Republicans are actively sabotaging the economy, in the hopes of enhancing their election chances in November. Of course, they blame Biden for the shit that they do and its awful consequences.
Is there anything more reprehensible than politicians subjecting their constituents to futher hardship in the midst of a crisis, in order to score political points? People are suffering, and Abbott is adding to their hardship. And the people most affected? The cowboy-hat crowd who voted for him (and those poor bastards who didn't, but are still stuck in a state run by him).
I'm eagerly anticipating our resident conservitards twisting themselves into knots trying to apologize for this latest dumber-than-dumb Republihole move. And Millerscum will inevitably, reflexively, call me a liar, but what I described is actually happening, and easily verified.
