Graham Platner drops out as Maine Senate bid implodes

Another one of the "best" that DemocRATs have to offer America is exposed for the worthless POS that DemocRATs are. --- Maine Democrat Graham Platner suspended his U.S. Senate campaign Wednesday after days of mounting sexual assault allegations turned his once-prominent bid against Republican Sen. Susan Collins into a political disaster for Democrats.  --   The suspension came one day after Lyndsey Fifield, who dated Platner from 2013 to 2014 and had previously accused him of physical abuse, told the Washington Post that Platner repeatedly removed condoms during sex after she told him she was not on birth control.  --  Platner’s collapse leaves Democrats scrambling in a Senate race they had hoped could become a serious challenge to Collins. Instead, the party now faces another messy candidate scandal, with its own leaders forced to abandon a nominee who insisted the allegations against him were false while his support evaporated in real time.  --   https://mxmnews.com/article/907091a6-7f2a-47f0-b3d7-7e23fb808067?graham-platner-drops-out-as-maine-senate-bid-implodes

You seem upset about a sexual assault allegation. Why are you not upset about the dozens of sexual asault allegations against Trump?

Hypocrisy, perhaps?

TDS! TDS! TDS!

PJ listed them recently in another thread. Do a search if you're interested. They weren't "accusations"; they were accusations.

It's common knowledge. Are you saying that Trump has never been accused of sexual assault?

So, YOU have no links - who is surprised?   Absolutely no one. The only "common knowledge" is that you lie.

Oh, come on, David, this is ridiculous.  You have no proof that we were at war with Japan in 1944, post a link or you have RDS (Roosevelt Derangement Syndrome).  The allegations of sexual misconduct are all over the place.  Here's what comes up with Google AI after about 1.5 seconds of searching:

Since the 1970s, at least 28 women have publicly accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, ranging from unwanted groping and forcible kissing to rape. In 2023, a federal jury found Trump liable for the sexual abuse of E. Jean Carroll. Trump has denied all allegations against him. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
The allegations spanning several decades include:
E. Jean Carroll Case
  • Allegation: Author E. Jean Carroll alleged that Trump raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s.
  • Outcome: In 2023, a federal jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation, awarding Carroll $5 million. In a subsequent 2024 trial regarding further defamatory statements, a jury awarded Carroll an additional $83.3 million. [1, 2, 3]
Additional Public Accusers
  • Ivana Trump (1989): Trump’s first wife stated in a 1989 divorce deposition that he raped her, although she later stated she did not mean it in a criminal sense and that she felt violated. [1]
  • Jessica Leeds (Late 1970s): Alleged Trump groped her and attempted to put his hand up her skirt on a flight to New York. [1, 2]
  • Jill Harth (1992–1993): A former business associate filed a 1997 lawsuit alleging "attempted rape" and groping by Trump. The suit was withdrawn as part of a separate business settlement. [1, 2, 3]
  • Natasha Stoynoff (2005): A People magazine writer alleged Trump pushed her against a wall and forced his tongue down her throat at Mar-a-Lago. [1]
  • Summer Zervos (2007): A former Apprentice contestant alleged Trump sexually assaulted her in a hotel and made unwanted sexual advances. She filed a defamation lawsuit that was later dropped. [1, 2, 3]
  • Amy Dorris (1997): A former model alleged Trump forcibly kissed and groped her at a U.S. Open VIP box. [1, 2]
  • Alva Johnson (2016): A former campaign staffer filed a lawsuit alleging Trump kissed her on the side of the mouth without consent at a Florida rally. The lawsuit was later dismissed. [1, 2]
  • Stacey Williams (1993): A former model alleged Trump groped her at Trump Tower in a "twisted game" linked to Jeffrey Epstein. [1, 2, 3]
Beauty Pageant Allegations
  • Pageant Dressing Rooms (1997–2013): Several former beauty pageant contestants—including Tasha Dixon, Samantha Holvey, and Cassandra Searles—accused Trump of walking into undressing areas while they were naked or partially clothed during his time owning the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants.
  • Temple Taggart (1997): A former Miss Utah alleged Trump kissed her directly on the lips without consent. [1, 2]
Other Notable Incidents
  • Access Hollywood (2005): During an unaired 2005 Access Hollywood interview, an audio recording captured Trump bragging about forcibly kissing women and grabbing their genitals. Trump dismissed the remarks as "locker room talk" and repeatedly denied ever acting on them. [1, 2]

Oh come on now - apparently he attempted to or did kiss most of the women you cite here - hardly classifies as assault, much less attempted rape. Walking into a room full of women is what - an assault? Total bullshit. His "bragging" does not constitute nothing more than locker room talk, which almost every man has done and continues to do to this day - no assault or rape here either. Now for the "big" one - E. Jean Carroll -- this is the most unbelievable one. She could not remember when it happened, waited 25 years to claim he raped her, = a total unverifiable farce. Read here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._Jean_Carroll_v._Donald_J._Trump  -- and see what a total farce the whole event was. Even his ex-wife recanted her original claim. The majority of these "crimes" equate to women claiming he attempted to "kiss" them - oh, what a crime. This "crime" happens everywhere, everyday since time began. Lastly, neither you, me or anyone else has any eye witness proof of these crimes. So go ahead and spew unverifiable gossip - for that is what you TDS infected morons do. Being a man, I find it hard to place much value on the "crimes" you cite - and most any other man would laugh at the accusations because women and men, since time immortal, have had encounters that men and women have when going thru life.
