NY redistricred 2 years ago. The legislature did it even though it was unconstitutional.ย
The democratic SC ignored it and the republicans lost 3 seats.ย
WI is doing it now.ย

Don't you remember when that ๐ jumped on the anti-vaccine bandwagon and at the same time he was on his 3rd vaccination shot when the general public was just starting to get thier second. At the same time publicly he tried to play the macho man that wasn't going to get a second.

ย He is the typical Republican sleaze ball that knows his base is full of shit so he lies to them and tells them what they want to hear while doing opposite. Republicans in Texas are a special kind of stupid as they can't even spot a liar like this. Shit
ย ย Here are just two examples refuting the lie you post here -- (1) -1981 REDISTRICTING Following the 1980 elections, Democrats had full control over redistricting in 16 states (164 seats), Republicans had full control in five states (50 seats), 32 states were split (213 seats), one (Hawaii โ 2 seats) had a commission, and six states had only one at-large district. Democrats held the House of Representatives throughout the decade. --(2)- In 2011, Republicans held trifectas in 17 states (with 200 seats). Democrats only controlled 6 states (44 seats) marking a modern low for the party. Only 14 states (96 seats) were under split control. The seven at-large states remained in place for a third straight decade. California adopted a commission in the mid-2000s raising the total number of states with commissions to six and more than doubled the total number of seats under commission control to 88. Republicans held the House in 2012, 2014, and 2016. Democrats took control in 2018 and maintained it in 2020. -- https://thearp.org/blog/party-control/modern-congressional-history/

Newsom wants to do it if Texas follows through with it.ย I'm not a fan.
States with most Gerrymandered districts.ย ย

If Blue States decide to play by the same rules as red states then Republicans will never win the house again.ย ย
They barely have it now.

Is that really what Abbott is saying?ย ย What does Costello have to say about it, though?
Abbott doesn't have the power, the authority, or the balls to cancel Congressional representation. He and MAGA seem to think that the minority party can just be brushed aside.
ย
Though I do find the idea attractive, we in Oregon can't just round up all the Republicans, strip them of their voting privileges, and sterilize them. Why not? It's against the state and federal Constitutions.
ย
Abbott needs to realize that even though his orange lord and master keeps trying and often succeeding, he can't just wipe his ass with the Constitution (US or Tay-ucks-ass).
