Funny how this isn't mentioned until the 13th paragraph:  "Trump is considered a passive investor who doesn’t control the financing or management of 1290 Avenue of the Americas. The main investor is Vornado Realty Trust, which owns 70 percent." 

So a company in which Trump passively invests.....with zero control of financing and no mangement or voting rights got money from China.  Yeah that's just like Hunter Biden walking away with a Billion+ dollar investment after a visit on Airforce 2.

Its the same dynamic Trump was criticial of Hiunter Biden about.   But then again Trump was critical of Obama for playing golf.   Playing the gotcha game with hypocrisy only works on people who have an ounce of shame or integrity.

the three takeaways here are this:

1) Doesn't matter if Trump is a passive investor or not.   The CHinese still have financial leverage on his personal business empire which is a conflict of interest in his role as president.    Thats why presidents historically have released their business empire before taking office.

2) Hunter Biden is not president of the UNited States or a government official of any kind so his dealings with foreign banks are not matters of national security as much Charles wants them to be.

3) Joe Biden has released his tax returns so the voting public can see all of the instituions in which he has financial dealings and relationships.    President Trump is hiding under his desk with his tax returns ...in the same spot he hid during the Mueller investigation and impeachment hearings.     So we dont know who his financial partners around the world are in his business empire that he's not suppossed to be currently operating.    

But if MisterPicture thinks Trump's newly found corruption is a needle move as far as sentiment from his confederate base I think he is in for a big disappointment.

'Same dynamic'?  Double talk for it's nothing like it.  4 years before Trump became President a company he invested in borrowed money from China.  I bet every politican in Washinton has investments in companies that borrowed money from someone.  Why do we not claim 'They OWE the banking industry money' and their actions are obviously payoffs...because they don't.  It's just spin.  Trump has no conrol over this company. 

Now Hunter Biden flew with his Daddy on Airforce 2 to China.  He walked away with a Bllion Plus Investment from the Bank of China.  Not a peep from PJ or Mister P. about that.  I guess he thinks that's perfectly ok.   I can only imagine his outrage if Donald Trump Jr. had done the exact same deal as Hunter.  Travel with pop to China and come back with a billion bucks for his company.  That woud be just dandy, right PJ?  PJ reeks of Hypocricy.

WHo initiated the borrowing and when is irrelevant.   In the present day, Trump's personal business interests have financial leverage to a foreign government.  That  would be a "no biggie" if he was not in a postion to make national foreign policy with that same country..but he does.

I understand, Charles, you so VERY  desperately want to believe Hunter Biden's civilian role in our country has the same power, national security interests andco nsequences as the sitting president of the UNited States.   

And I dont know how to respont to that other than to point and laugh.

BUt again - this is old news.   Trump's been selling his hotel rooms, convention space, and golf  memberships to foreign entities and special interest groups from day 1.   And the receipts are all locked up with his tax returns.      

Obviously, it's time to impeach Hunter Biden. Is he the President of an HOA by any chance?

Even if Hunter Biden stole eleventy kabillion dollars from widows and orphans, raped and murdered entire villages, and cheated at gin rummy, what does that have to do with Trump, and how does it excuse Trump's actions?

I've been waiting for conservatives to answer that simple question for some time now.

You probably won't get an answer they are busy giving themselves Lysol enemas.
