Thanks to the travesty known as the Electoral College, Democrats have to win the popular vote by at least 4 percent to take the White House. Biden won by 4.5%--and barely squeaked out a win. Hillary won by 2%--and lost to the Turd.
Aside from the absurdity of ANYONE voting for the Turd, the sad reality is that the Democrats started out with a 4-point handicap and probably need to increase their margin even more. The trouble is, the cadre of undecided voters is smaller than it has ever been--and we all know that there are only seven states where everyone's mind isn't already made up.
So what can either side really do to increase their margin? Is it down to a coin flip, with utter disaster the result if Trump wins?
And...what can we tell our kids who are voting for the first time? How can we explain what an existential threat is posed by Trump, and why their lives and ours will be fucked over if we let Trump win?
