Have you heard about our national crimewave? Well, the FBI stats are out for 2022, and guess what?

In 2022, crime was way down just about across the board.

- Homicide: down 6.1%

- Rape: down 5.4%

- Aggravated assault: down 1.1%

And so far in 2023, murder is down 12% in the 90 cities reporting data.

But, property crime in 2022 was up 7%, led by an increase in car thefts of 11%, led by Hyundai and Kia thefts that in at least one city increased by 2400%. Just google Kia and TikTok if you don't know why.

So while it's a bit ridiculous to credit a President with the reduced crime rate, I just gotta say it: Thanks, Biden!

Let me guess, the FBI fudged the numbers - who knew?

Yeah, I guess for you the FBI doesn't have nearly the credibility as some rando on Facebook.

So much for that being an issue.    And unemployment.  And inflation.

I guess all Republicans have left is "Joe BIden is old"  and "woke people"

Have fun with that.

Most of the major cities don't participate so the data is incomplete. So the 40,000 cars stolen in Chicago this year are not included.

How the fuck do you know that "most of the major cities don't participate"? MP didn't even say where the data came from.

You're embarrassing yourself. Fucking idiot.

Here is how we know. Save your filth for yourself -  --Notably, 2021’s numbers did not include crime statistics from 43% of national police departments, including Los Angeles and New York City, the nation’s largest cities, due to the adoption of a new crime reporting system. --https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/california-violent-crime-skyrockets-arrests-plummet

Fake URL, and MP was referring to 2022 anyway. Some website calling itself "justthenews" isn't a credible source, even if it says things you want to hear.

Thank you for mentioning Chicago! It so happens that over a 14-month period, 12,240 Hyundais and Kias were stolen in Chicago, about TRIPLE their proportion of vehicles. You can thank the greedy irresponsible manufacturers for failing to issue a recall. And you can't blame you-know-who in the White House.
