Oh Kevin. Will you be the first to report when no forest fire happens?

If no forest fire happens, it'll be a matter of luck. Keep in mind that it will be virtually impossible to keep such a fire from spreading in very rugged terrain in the dark.
But hey, Trump will get his jollies. That's all that matters, right?

Kevin believes that a bunch of losers live there. He couldn't care less.
It's not who lives there. Very few people live in the immediate area. It's the people who the rally morons will infect when they return home.
There will also be a considerable impact on the locals if there's a forest fire. Those people are indeed Republicans, but no one deserves to get burned out of their home.

Herman Cain dies from COVID-19
A casualty of the Tulsa hate rally. Somehow, I can't feel sorry for him.
Even though Mr. Cain refused to wear a mask, possibly sickening or even killing others, and even though he urged others not to wear masks, predictably resulting in additional infections, I'd like to pay my respects at his grave.
But I'll be sure and drink a lot of water first.

Agreed! But it was the people around him who failed to wear a mask who are most likely to blame.
It works both ways. The concept some people don't seem to be able to get.
RIP Mr. Cain. He had a proposal for simplifying the tax code, did he not? I guess it died on the vine.

More like OVERsimplifying it. His so-called 9-9-9 plan would have shifted a substantial portion of the existing tax burden to the poor. It was what is called a "regressive" tax scheme, wherein the lowest earners pay more of their incomes, proportionately, than the higher earners. Sales taxes, which was the middle "9" of the program and to be imposed federally in addition to existing state sales taxes, are an example of regressive taxes--that is one reason why most states don't put a sales tax on groceries.
Cain's scheme amounted to the equivalent of a 30% VAT, or Value Added Tax, on consumer goods (considering his plan in toto). There were other elements besides the 9-9-9 that contributed to that, included how corporations could calculate the cost of goods sold. It was not very popular once people realized they would be paying 15 to 18 percent sales tax on everything they bought.
I don't know what awful event in his life made him turn to the dark (Trump) side. He seemed like a decent man before that. But Trump turned him into a no-mask moron, and he paid the price. He was a Tea Party activist before then, so maybe it was a logical progression for him.
(And BTW, Godfather's Pizza was lousy.)
I think by every account Herman Cain was reported to be a very nice man. I dont believe I would ever vote for him for any office - but that doesn't make him a bad person.
He was not a victim of the virus; he was a victim of ignorant propoganda. His death is a shame.

I always thought he was an interesting guy. It is always sad when a cult member willingly drinks the Koolaid and snuffs out their own life.
