Holy crap! I cant keep my doctor !

I can top all those stories...kinda.  I showed up to my long time dentist for regular check up.  The hygienist was doing her thing, my mouth wide open, when suddenly said "Oh, did you know that Dr. XXXX has retired?"  Huh?  She said he made no announcement to patients, couldn't take the emotional outpouring.  Well...what the heck was I doing in that office, work in progress, and the dentist who presumably would be overseeing her work not there?  There was another dentist in the office, though neither he nor I had ever crossed paths, and didn't that day.  The hygienist finished, said all is well, see you next time.  Like hell.  I signed on with my husband's dentist, no problems.

Long ago after all my teeth but one had been crowned, I determined that paying extra for dental insurance would not be financially advantageous.  So far so good, and I floss faithfully!

PJ speaks out of both sides of his mouth, using whichever side inflames and supports his twisted rational.

You're absolutely right.    Liberals (myself included) never once made the claim Obamacare is great.   The argument was it was better than the system that preceded it.    For 8 years Republicans told us life was better with inusurance companies discriminating against sick people, kicking college students off family plans, higher costs for women vs men, and massive out of pocket costs for senior prescription drugs.     All the while pointing to their superior plan hiding behind curtain #3.

Charles, does it ever bother you nothing was behind the curtain and your Republican leaders lied to you?

We were told we could keep our doctor- we couldn’t

we we were told illegals wouldn’t get coverage - they are.

We we were told costs would one down - they didn’t.

Senior prescription drugs is a Medicare issue & can be resolved by purchasing a supplemental plan which don’t cost that much.

I stopped reading after your first sentence.   Dondiego’s first post onn this thread will correct your misstatement
