You aren't too dense to realize that a) preferential hiring was designed to make up for past inequalities, which certainly existed for much of our history, and b) that era ended about 40 years ago with all the "reverse discrimination" lawsuits, like Bakke v. University of California.
The reality is that these days, people are hired for their abilities. Like ICE for thuggery.

Sure, and you probably think reparations are a keen plan. There was a time to integrate and we did successfully in most cases, but hiring, promotions and raises based on race is just that, racism when it should be based on merit.
